When possible, I love building a wedding timeline around the natural progression of the day rather than trying to force every portrait into one large block.

Earlier in the day, the indoor spaces and windows at Vinterra can provide clean, soft light for details and getting-ready photographs. As the day progresses, outdoor portraits can take advantage of changing light around the property.

Then comes one of my favorite portions of a wedding day: golden hour.

One thing I love about high-end weddings is that luxury is often experienced rather than announced.

It means knowing when to step in and offer direction—and when to disappear into the background.

It means photographing your wedding with the understanding that these images are not only for Instagram or an announcement. They are eventually going to become part of your family’s history.
